I worked on various marketing videos with Index coop and asked me if I had ideas on how to build an automated daily video price feed for their cryptocurrency tokens.

I had built a full system to do just that a couple of years earlier for a project that was abandoned, so I was thrilled to give a second life to this code and automated the process for this new project.

Every morning, a job from the Laravel backend would scraped the coingecko for prices, produce an Extendscript file, push it to a render machine that would produce a video via a combination of AppleScript, After Effects, and FFMPEG. Once the file was rendered, the render machine uploaded it to AWS and called back the main server to make the file downloadable to the Index Coop team to post on twitter. 176 videos were produced in total before the product was put on hold due to financial constraints.
